Right now in my ministry and across our church, some of our leadership are having discussions about our definition of success. We’re wrestling through the odd concept of how we know when we’re getting it right as a church and what that even means. It’s a tough thing to do in a church and ministry context sometimes because there are a lot of variables; not to mention the fact that it’s clear that “God gives the increase” and so much of what we would call success in people’s lives is not for us nor by us.
